A 90 km south of Bechar and 1 400 km south-west of Algiers, Premiere is a little away from the main road, on the edge of the Zouzfana, which separates more south with the Saoura Oued, but which reputation! It shows itself from the top of the road which descends from the rocky plateau, it would be the most beautiful oasis of the Great Erg and even the Sahara. The Grand Erg, far from being a sterile expanse of dunes, has fossilized forests, natural wells such as that of Titaouine (Hassi Rahou, 2 h) and prehistoric sites (about 60 km from the oasis).
