The Moorish style building of the museum is the former residence of the Emir Abdelkader, restored and converted into a museum from 1997. Through the various exhibited objects, this museum recounts the epic of the Emir Abdelkader and the history of Miliana. In the garden are exposed to archaeological remains of Roman and Muslim periods. A visit not to be missed to understand how rich the town of Miliana is historically.
