If there was only one reason to come to Mazu, it would be to visit Beigan. This island is mainly attractive for its mountains and bays. The landscapes are beautiful and some villages on the coast offer beautiful panoramas. You can easily visit it on foot, and stroll through the villages that still seem cut off from the world. Beigan is one of our favorite destinations in Taiwan, especially the beautiful village of Chinpi.
