KHAO SOI NOM TAN

Thai restaurant

This tiny establishment with its pastel-blue walls is well worth a visit. It's close to Wat Phumin. The Khao Soi follows the Nan recipe: a spicy broth with a dash of concentrated coconut milk, with a choice of beef or chicken. Other more classic noodles are available, as well as roast pork over rice. Right next door is Hot Bread, a small, friendly restaurant offering more international cuisine.

Huan Phuka is the ideal restaurant for a taste of authentic Lanna cuisine. Another house specialty is grilled pork ribs. Wide choice of meats, fish, salads... Beware, however, that some dishes are slightly spicy. Pleasant service.
