THAI ELEPHANT CONSERVATION CENTER

The main interest of the place is the two hospitals where injured or sick animals from all over the country are treated. It is possible to follow a "care course" for elephants for several days! Some guesthouses organize this excursion (with other points of interest in the region). The presentation of the work of the elephants has become purely folkloric, as none of these animals work nowadays in the exploitation of wood.
