Clément Nicolas and his team have taken over the historic Caves Tissandier, carrying on the know-how of their predecessor.
Under the arcades of the prefecture, Caves Tissandier offers a wide selection of French and foreign wines, as well as cognac, champagne, liqueurs and beers. The selection is carefully chosen by Christian Lambert's successors, who reign supreme over more than 3,000 references. They can't stop talking about their products, and always find time to offer advice on how to find the right bottle for you. For a small budget, you can walk out with some wonders. The vaulted cellar lends itself perfectly to tastings

le lendemain j'ai rapporté les deux bouteilles à peine entamées de quelques centilitres, après avoir goûté à nouveau pour confirmer l'avis de la veille. Le patron m'a à peine écouté, a finit sur mon insistance par goûter et m'a dit qu'il trouvait le vin très bon, et même excellent (!)
Aucune proposition de ''dédommagement'' ou de remplacement... à peine au revoir
Une certitude, il ne me reverra pas, d'autant qu'il y a d'autres (très bons et plus aimables) cavistes à Clermont Ferrand
