Every Sunday, the people of Clermont-Ferrand meet at Place Gambetta - better known as Place des Salins - to bargain. The exhibitors, professionals and individuals, are there and the good deals are always present. Next to the market, there are also stalls selling fruit and vegetables, bread, cheese, meat and fish, as well as many ready-made dishes to enjoy at lunchtime. A real market worthy of the name! To exhibit, it is advisable to reserve 15 days in advance.

Superbe lieu de partage et d'échange surtout si vous aimez les objets et la brocante. On réalise de bonnes trouvailles. Pour ceux qui ont trop flané, il y a juste à côté un marché pour s'approvisionner, en poulet rôti, ou bien d'autres spécialités orientales, à déguster sur place ou à emporter.

Ce ne sont plus les Puces des Salins d il y a qqs années. Il y avait un standing en vendeurs et en acheteurs. Cela a bien changé. Bcp de vols y sont commis.
