A venue steeped in history in Clermont-Ferrand, offering exhibitions by local artists and events.
This superb room has been used as an exhibition space since 2014. Here, local artists are given carte blanche, and exhibitions are held in conjunction with current events. It's also a place steeped in history. Built in 1778, the building has served as a warehouse, housed the former town weight, a cheese market and the Conservatoire de Musique. Then the first floor became a village hall. It bears the name of Gilbert Gaillard, a polytechnician and confectionery industrialist born in Maringues in 1843, who was mayor of Clermont-Ferrand, deputy and senator.
