AROUND DELILLE TO THE LECOQ GARDEN
Delille Square is emblematic. First of all by its history, because the 1 st Crusade was preached by Urban II. Formerly named Royal Place, Delille retains traces of his illustrious past, including his bronze fountain. Today, it is the crossroads of a multitude of arteries and is a good starting point for exploring the maze of Clerical streets. Go to Poterne and Blaise-Pascal Square by the rue du Port through its remarkable basilica, or go down towards the station where you will take a look at the beautiful Saint-Joseph market. If not, go to Trudaine Boulevard to the viaduct Saint-Jacques. At the level of Michel de l 'Hospital, you are surrounded by the Jetée, a building dedicated to short films. Also look at the Higher School of Commerce installed in a xviie building. Then you arrive at the Lecoq Garden, where urban agitation seems particularly remote.
