An art museum that now has nearly 1,000 works by nationally and internationally renowned artists in Clermont-Ferrand.
The Fonds Régional d'Art Contemporain is supported by the Conseil Régional, the DRAC, the city of Clermont-Ferrand and a club of patrons. Born of a policy of acquiring works of art that began in the 1980s, it now boasts almost 1,000 works of national and international renown. The FRAC works to promote awareness of contemporary art through lectures, guided tours, events, publications and temporary exhibitions. Its move to the former Halle aux Blés in the Ballainvilliers district is scheduled for 2026.
