Great Mosque in the Carmes district, luminous with its glass domes and white walls, to be seen on a guided tour.
Inaugurated in 2010 in the Carmes district, this discreet place is still globally ignored by many Clermontois. It is however open for guided tours or conferences. The mosque is surprisingly bright, thanks to its glass dome and its white walls. Calligraphies, sculptures, wood and marble inlays, wrought iron decorate the rooms from floor to ceiling. After the visit, it is possible to be offered a free mint tea.
