Its website indicates how to get a composter, a Stop-pub sticker... Valtom is also dedicated to raising awareness to reduce our waste. It opens its doors from time to time to visit its sites: the Vernea incinerator refurbished in 2014, the sorting center Echalier or Puy Long, a hill where non-hazardous and non-recyclable waste is stored. Vegetable peelings, egg shells... what to do with this waste when you live in the city center and do not have a garden? Terra Preta has answered this question by setting up the Archipel des Salins, a bio-waste collection site open to individuals and professionals. This waste is then transformed into compost, which feeds the green space created on site. Every week, many workshops are offered, such as learning different sowing techniques or learning how to make cuttings, basketry, recognizing the animals present in the gardens... Terra Preta has also set up a woodworking workshop.
