ASM OMNISPORT

Rugby, soccer and cross-country: these are the three disciplines that gave rise to the Association Sportive Michelin, created for the company's employees and later renamed AS Montferrand. Founded just over a century ago by Marcel Michelin, this sports organization already had a strong ambition: to make sport accessible to all, at any age and for as long as possible. Today, these three letters are accompanied by the word "omnisports", reflecting the wide range of activities on offer. The association now boasts fifteen sections and over 5,000 members. To the historic disciplines of rugby, soccer and athletics have been added judo, handisport, wrestling, multisports, tennis, kendo, boxing, gymnastics, swimming, basketball and weightlifting.
