Comfortable hotel near Place Gaillard.
Until recently, it was known as Volcanhotel. Today, it is called Artyster and is much more than a simple hotel. The address claims to be a place of life, with a playful and urban atmosphere. In terms of accommodation, the rooms have a colorful decor, decorated with recycled objects, in a loft style. The concept includes, in addition to the hotel, a coworking space, a bar, a restaurant and a gym. The idea? To encourage a mix between locals, those from the neighborhood and those passing through and thus promote exchanges.

When booking we were told there was somewhere to store our bikes. This wasn't accurate, and the staff knew nothing about our request. They eventually agreed to store our bikes in their "gym", as that was out of action anyway. Note it's also not an accessible hotel - to get to the tiny lift (would not fit a wheelchair or pushchair) you had to go up several stairs. Not a problem for us, but might be for others.
