Charming restaurant with terrace, serving quality local produce in the historic center of Clermont.
Just a stone's throw from Place de la Victoire, the discreet Place de la Treille has been home to a charming restaurant since August 2024, brought to life by Philippe Lopez in the dining room, Pablo Paredes as mixologist and chef Phira Chhean in the kitchen. No garden, as the name suggests, but a lovely terrace that attracts the crowds. Products carefully selected from local suppliers (Durif, Boucherie Gauthier, Les Petits glaçons...) are sublimated by the chef through a tasty menu. For a pleasant meal in the heart of the historic center, we recommend.

Plats élaborés
Ceci dit le service à été très long, nous sommes arrivés à 20h15 et nous sommes ressortis à 23h seulement pour plat/dessert...
On n'a même pas pris d'apéritif.
De plus, la propreté des couverts est à revoir.
Vraiment dommage.
Portions chiches mais cohérentes avec le prix .4 morceaux de tataki de thon assez fins
Les fruits de mer et poissons des linguine trop cuits .
2 cll à soupe de crème anglaise pour des îles flottantes .
Il y a des petites choses à améliorer

Mais le service est déplorable. Nous avons attendu 20min pour qu’on prenne notre commande apéro (compliqué de choisir car il y a 3 cartes différentes et qu’elles n’ont pas été apportées ensemble) puis encore 20min pour la commande plats…
Globalement 1h entre chaque plat… on est arrivé à 20h, repartis à 23h
Alors qu’il y a un menu avec 4 choix possibles à chaque fois donc pas très compliqué à anticiper
Le service est chaotique : nos verres d’apéro n’ont pas été débarrassés, la moitié de la table est servie puis la serveuse sert une autre table puis revient à la nôtre…
Dommage car du potentiel !
