Here's a charmingly out-of-the-way spot for a leisurely lunch. Shelves up to the ceiling, loaded with colorful groceries and spirits, add to the cramped feel of the place. Refrigerated display cases offer a variety of succulent Asian dishes, prepared the same day. Depending on your skill level, you can play with chopsticks or fall back on a pair of cutlery. SOOJI is a dynamic team, for which the quality of the products but also of the reception are priorities.
I was born in the land of the morning calm. I have traveled in Asia and in particular in Korea, Japan and China.
I have taught Chinese. I like to transmit and share my passions... Through the homemade dishes that I cook with my team, through different cultural activities that I propose in my two establishments such as cooking classes, or the organization of trips to Korea or Japan, the making of handicrafts, etc.
SOOJI is a typical Japanese and Korean grocery store, with its ingredients for cooking, its articles of all kinds to decorate or to please oneself, but it is also a place where one can eat on the spot with homemade products or not, and that one can also take away. It is a place of exchange, where you can take cooking classes or participate in a cultural workshop. All this is just a few steps away from the Maison de la Culture and close to the Place de Jaude!

The store at Les Salins offers a wide range of grocery products: from soy sauce to chopsticks, whisky and noodles... order some of these products online or visit us to enjoy our homemade products, including the famous Bento du Jour de la patronne, a real starter-main course-dessert menu! It is also here that you will be able to participate in cooking classes and various cultural events organized around Korea and Japan.
