Châtel-Guyon's theater impresses first and foremost with its architecture, designed by Albert Le Voisvenel in the late century.
The architecture of the Châtel-Guyon theater is impressive. Designed by Albert Le Voisvenel in the late 19th century, it was refurbished a few years later by Edouard-Jean Niermans. Closed in 2004, the establishment was bought by the commune, renovated and reopened in 2015. Around a removable pit, the prestigious auditorium now seats 453. Today, this symbol of the Belle Époque is the spa town's theatrical, musical and cinematic meeting place, where renowned headliners continue to perform to this day.
