Magnifique site, cela vaut la peine d'y aller malgré le prix. un des plus beaux sites du Sri Lanka, ce serait dommage de ne pas s'y rendre pour une raison de coût!

The promenade in the royal gardens before tackling the ascent of the Rock is very pleasant. This rise is quite easy, isn't particularly difficulties due to the many staircases and metal ramps that were aménagés.les ruins of the palace at the top of the Rock are spectacular, panoramic views also but the strong point of the place is for me the rupestrian sublime frescoes that adorn the walls of the rock shelter accessed via a spiral staircase.
They are a delicacy, a fine admirable feature. They alone is worth the climb
The entrance of the site is very high even excessive, almost 4,000 rupees

A certain amount of physical condition is necessary because the many steps are narrow and steep.
If there is world, one is forced to follow the rhythm of the crowd to climb the steps (one behind the other).
There are however levels to allow you to catch your breath: paintings of the ladies of Sigiriya are very well preserved, the " wall miroir" is interesting that the poems are not too any more visible…
The gardens are very well maintained, the monkeys are a stroll peacefully.
The view of course exceptional once all above. A 360 ° view (beware of the weather as a result…). It is all that remains of the king's palace.
An excursion that is worth it, but you have to take your time not to suffer.
