Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Johan, qui nous avait joliment préparé notre chambre avec lit double. Les sanitaires étaient nickels et les douches impeccables, avec eau chaude & bon débit. Literie TB, repas excellent, une bonne petite salade de choux et avocats suivi d'un carry poulet très fin et pas lourd, tout en étant généreux dans les quantités. Bon petit rhum aussi. Pour le petit déjeuner c'était très bien aussi, oranges fraiches et pain chaud.
Nous avons en plus particulièrement apprécié les échanges que nous avons eu avec Johan, très disponible et sympa, ce qui change de la plupart des gites dans mafate où on ne voit quasiment pas les hôtes à part pour amener les plats.
Nous étions très très inquiets après avoir lu les commentaires désastreux sur ce gite et visiblement il s'agit d personnes malveillantes et jalouses je suppose. En tous les cas nous recommandons ce gite, merci !

The cottage is located at the end of the islet and above all... As for the view, less better for legs! We were in a very clean but poorly soundproofed room, with shared facilities, where water is scarce if you go in the last! The meal is a little stuffy, the meal was good and classic. The guest is welcoming but not very loquacious. There is also the opportunity to sleep in a dormitory. Rather recommended, but you should be able to find better in the islet.

We spending a night in double room during our crossing of Reunion. Room and well decorated with a beautiful view. Very friendly owner. Hearty meal and of good quality. One of the best stays on the GR. R2.
