A simple detour along the Route des Plaines allows you to discover this grandiose panorama, often overlooked by tourists. The breathtaking viewpoint rises to an altitude of around 1,400 m. It offers a breathtaking view of the ramparts of Cilaos and the islet of Grand-Bassin, 600 m below, deep in the gorges of the bras de La Plaine. You can also see the Voile de la Mariée waterfall flowing into a blue basin. On site, you'll find a large picnic area, popular at weekends, as well as fruit, bouchon and samosa stands.

despite cooler rempérature, the site is to be seen, the downhill walk is in 3 hours climbing to the " small blancs" large swimming pool
