This is undoubtedly the hike that offers the best "minimum effort for a maximum view" ratio. From the car park, a path starts and reaches a fork 30 m further on. Take the direction of the Cap Noir, for about ten minutes of walking at the edge of a cliff of 1 000 m height from where you have an imposing panorama on Mafate. From there, you can either retrace your steps back to the car park or make a loop via the Verre-Bouteille rock. It's a very nice walk, but beware of the ladders that may make walkers sensitive to vertigo feel cold.

Superbe ballade pouvant se faire par les crêtes ou par le Cap Noir (itinéraire à éviter par temps de pluie à cause des glissements de terrain). Les points de vues sont nombreux sur la Rivière des Galets, la Canalisation des Orangers et le Cirque de Mafate. Après le Cap Noir, trois ou quatre échelles vous permettront de rejoindre la Roche Vert Bouteille et son point de vue sur Dos D’âne. Bonne expérience.

Very beautiful walking with great views of the cirque de Mafate, easily reachable from where the many walkers who go there every day. Go preferably before 10:00 in the morning to see the circus without the clouds and avoid the heat.

Le sentier n'est pas toujours facile, d'autant qu'il y a des passages sur des échelles.
