We find ourselves in front of a building from the late 1920s, built to house a restaurant. Unsurprisingly, tradition is the watchword of this place. Regional specialities include zaleka, a low-fat smoked bacon, and rateški krapi, a Slovenian variation of our tartiflette. One of the big highlights of this hostel is its superb variety of traditional and homemade desserts. There are also beautiful contemporary and clean rooms available at around 60 euros per night.
