Dishes on the menu range from simple pastas, risottos and salads to more delicate fish and meat dishes. We highly recommend the Mediterranean-style baked or grilled octopus, which can be served for two, or the vacuum-packed beef cheek accompanied by delicious Slovenian štruklji with fromage frais.

Completely renovated and modernized, this Alpine chalet in the heart of the village offers a number of cosy, comfortable rooms in the same warm atmosphere as its restaurant. Table service is attentive and smiling. The sourdough bread is homemade and the wine list offers local nuggets by the glass. The smaller menu is part of the concept: sharing! Dishes are presented in beautiful modern ceramics in the middle of the table for a moment of exchange. Portions are ideal, so you can taste everything and regret nothing.

The Pr' Jožici restaurant is located in Gozd Martuljek, just off the main road to Kranjska Gora. Its culinary tradition dates back to 1932, to Marko's grandmother Jožica, whose portrait adorns the restaurant's walls. The grandson, now in charge of the family business, has preserved the authentic recipes of Alpine cuisine of yesteryear, adding a touch of modernity. Here, they still cook over an open fire, much to the delight of the locals who have been coming here for generations.

The most budget-friendly place in the resort, with a simple offering in a decor that's nothing out of the ordinary - and that's the genius of it, when everywhere else the prices are exorbitant. There's a choice of Neapolitan pizzas perfectly executed with fresh produce and airy dough, a few juicy, well-stuffed burgers with a vegan option, salads, a couple of traditional dishes and a mini selection of desserts, all between €10 and €15! As a result, the locals flock here and the place is too popular for a spontaneous visit.
