SISTERS KURTOS

Without moving from Slovenia, we discover here a Hungarian delicacy: the kürtőskalács, a strip of dough baked on a wooden spit that rotates slowly over a fire and then sprinkled with sugar; the latter caramelizes on the surface, creating a beautiful crust. It is then coated with almonds, pistachios, hazelnuts, and filled with ice cream, jam or spread. It can be taken and enjoyed while strolling along the Ljubljanica River. Notice to the gourmets, it is an address not to be missed!
