This shop sells salt harvested in the Secovlje Regional Park. The condiment is produced after several phases of evaporation and crystallization. On the ground floor of a magnificent Art Nouveau building on the right bank, this top-of-the-range glacier is particularly appreciated. The decor is chic and contemporary. The prices are almost indecent because they are so low. The perfumes are original and greedy. This is confirmed at the moment of tasting with very creamy renderings and skillfully mastered recipes. It would be wrong for you to deprive yourself of it! For inveterate gourmets, this glacier is also located on the coast, in downtown Koper.

This bakery, located near the local market, boasts the best sourdough bread in the capital. There's a French influence here, with the option of enjoying a slice of quiche on the premises, or taking away tasty smoked salmon or country ham sandwiches in black olive buns - a real treat! There are also gourmet almond croissants, but the star is the cruffin. This kind of cylindrical croissant is filled with a light, gourmet cream: pistachio/raspberry, passion fruit or caramel and peanuts.

The tiny bakery's opening hours can be seen on the front, officially from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., but unofficially to the last crumb . This bit of humor reflects the popularity of the place, as it's not uncommon for the shop assistants to have nothing left to sell before the clock strikes! Indeed, the bread and Viennese pastries of multi-starred chef Ana Roš are sold out at lightning speed. We fall for the puffed buckwheat chocolate petit-pain and the cream-filled cruffins , in keeping with seasonal flavors.

Behind Yauya is simply Laura, the local pastry chef who spent her summers in France and Italy, dreaming of one day opening her own little café with accents from both countries. A warm atmosphere, right down to the pastel-colored tableware. Unique pastry creations that can be enjoyed to take away or on the premises, with a behind-the-scenes view of the production process. Located in the arcades of the Plečnik market across from the baroque St. Nicholas Cathedral, this small restaurant offers delicious štruklji, the Slovenian rolls with sweet or savory fillings. Served in portions of two, more than twenty flavors are offered as well as other traditional dishes such as jota, a cabbage-based soup, and ričet. In order to enjoy the atmosphere of the market, prioritize your visit on Saturday noon on the terrace. Be careful, however, to take advantage of this good plan: only a few seats are available inside.

A little corner of paradise for all lovers of good French pastry. This is where Tomi Češek makes the best bread in Ljubljana and offers a tempting display of monodesserts, macarons, chocolates, gourmet eclairs with a mirror-like coating and daily pastries with a flaky, crisp pastry to match. It's simple, you want to take everything to go. The store is out of the way, but such bakery know-how in Slovenia is rare enough to justify the trip. Don't miss the Tornado: a croissant in a cylinder filled with caramel.

This is a unique experience at the heart of Ljubljana's only gin and whisky distillery. Discover its history, how the spirits are made, through a tour, samples and two selected signature cocktails. This distillery, created in 2012 from the passion of three friends who share a family tradition in the production of beer, wine and spirits, is the first in the Slovenian capital for at least sixty years. Obviously, it's not accessible to anyone under 18.

The small shop Dobrote Dolenjske offers a wide selection of local products from Slovenian gastronomy and more precisely from the Dolenjska region.
