It is a former monastery transformed from 1950 to 1956 by Plečnik into an open-air theater. This is the setting for the traditional Ljubljana Festival. The chamber music concerts take place in the Knights' Court. The column erected to the glory of the Illyrian provinces and Napoleon Bonaparte stands in the center of Trg francoske Revolucije, the French Revolution Square (Plečnik, 1929). The bronze head of the Emperor watches over the ashes of one of his braves, who died on the field of honor in 1813, fighting Austria.
