This pizzeria, opened in 1996, is quite special: not only do you have a choice of 66 different kinds of pizza and 14 excellent salads, but above all its decoration is remarkable. Its historic interior includes original pillars designed by the most famous Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik, which gives a special standing to the restoration room. In the plate, you will find pizzas baked in a traditional wood oven. Simple raw products but very correct pizzas. Special mention to the generous salads!

Parma is the first pizzeria opened in this part of Europe in 1973. Students in the 1970s remember their youth in this legendary place, which has become almost cult today. The authentic ovens are from this period (repaired, of course), which makes its charm. And the 40 different kinds of pizza have kept a taste of the past: they are thicker, tastier. You will appreciate the quality of the raw products - hams, cheeses but also arugula - which stand out from other pizzerias.

Osmica means 8, simply because we are at number 8 on the street. This orange pizzeria has a young and relaxed atmosphere and offers a wide range of pizzas of different sizes. It is ideally located near Prešeren Square in the pedestrian zone. The prices are affordable, the quality and service are satisfactory. Awarded with many prizes, it is the dough that makes the reputation of the place. There is something for everyone: salads, lasagne, desserts... and the new pizza rolls!

From the twentieth floor of the InterContinental Hotel, which opened in 2017, the view of Ljubljana is breathtaking. And in restaurant B, which overlooks the capital, the dishes are no less surprising. Prepared by the new local chef Komnen Bakić under the supervision of the famous Alfredo Russo, the new map is intended to be emblematic of Slovenia's plural influences: Italian, Austrian and Yugoslavian. This gastronomic inspiration can be found in gourmet and more Balkan dishes such as grilled red mullet with corn and seasonal mushrooms.

The place boasts a lovely summer terrace overlooking the pedestrian street, far enough away from the hypercentre to enjoy your meal in peace and quiet. The quality of the pizzas here is unquestionable, with perfectly aligned prices and innovative recipes such as the carbonara pizza, the truffle pizza or the ribja pizza with shrimp and white fish and squid ink dough. Other dishes are also on the menu at higher prices, including a particularly tasty variety of pork, the mangalica.

Directly inspired by a Slovenian comedy released in 2015, Šiška Deluxe, this bar-pizzeria offers a wide selection of pizzas and finger food to share, as well as cocktails, local beers, wine by the glass... Here locals and hotel guests mingle in an ultra-cool atmosphere thanks to the industrial furniture, neon light effects, various Friends-style sofas, and above all the concerts and DJ sets, all in a huge space reminiscent of American lofts. We also appreciate the relaxed atmosphere and free parking.

Italian restaurant in the heart of Ljubljana run by Italians. Stefano Rado, one of the owners, after falling in love with the capital during a visit, decided to open his third restaurant here and work there. Thus, with his thirty years of experience, he passes on his knowledge to his pizzaioli and chefs to prepare delicious Italian pizzas, gourmet and rigorously al dente pasta and tasty and colourful salads. The desserts are wonderful too. Many gluten-free solutions. Vegetarians and vegans are welcome.
