Most of the Auvergne's pink garlic is processed in Billom. The presence, cultivation and culinary uses of garlic in Limagne are not new. At the beginning of August, during a weekend, the Auvergne pink garlic competition takes place, the prize-giving ceremony is followed by the induction ceremony by the Grands Goussiers. Then the wine competition takes place with musical entertainment provided by the Banda de Combronde, and numerous activities for adults and children.
