Besse is also Super-Besse, a winter sports resort, so what could be more natural than to have installed a ski museum there in 1987. The entire history of skiing is retraced there, from 2500 BC to the advent of skiing in Besse at the beginning of the 20th century. After 15 years of researching all sorts of documents and materials (sleds, ice skates, bobsleighs...), Pierre-André Chauvet, the creator of these places whose family has been living in Besse since 1808, is in charge of the visit and the comments.
