About 150 km on the Tripoli-Nalout road, in the plain of the Basin, with the mountains of Jebel Nefousa for horizon, the small village of Qasr el-Hajj, one kilometre after the crossing on the right, houses the fortified fortified attic of the jebel Nefousa. Like many other villages in the country, that of Nineveh el-Hajj is expanding and new houses have moved to the entrance to the village.
