The Bazar Doce patisserie has been voted "best patisserie in Curitiba" many times over. Young pastry chef Isis Lepechak took the plunge after a stint in France and happily took over the reins at Bazar Doce. Good for her, she has added a touch of refinement to this respectable house, favoring a more "saudável" cuisine, with sugar and fat. The "fondant au praliné", the chocolate mousse with black cherry cream (R$18 and R$20) and the savoury empadas are definitely worth discovering!
