This is not the strong point of this stretch of coastline. The urban beaches are polluted, and you have to go quite far south to find beautiful beaches. In the immediate vicinity, the beaches frequented by the locals are worth mentioning

Praia dos Milionários. 7 km from the centre.

Praia do Cururupe. 10 km from the centre. Beautiful beach at the mouth of a small river

Praia de Back Door. 15 km from the centre. It offers rough waters

Take the bus that leaves from the Terminal Urbano in the direction of Una or Canavieiras, departure every 2 hours, count 4 R$.
