Hotel overlooking the historic center, with rather rough but clean and well-kept rooms at very competitive prices

It is hard to miss this hotel, strategically located in the city. The Ilheus hotel offers you a view towards the bay and another one on the historical center. The rooms are rather rough, but it is clean and well kept. The prices are very competitive for those who need to spend a night or two in Ilheus. The interest is perhaps also to share a bit of the history of the former cocoa capital. The Ilheus Hotel was built by Coronel Misael Tavares to provide the town with a hotel worthy of the name.
