RODOVIÁRIA

The bus station is located in the Iguatemi district, quite far from Pelourinho. Many destinations are served, including Rio (29 hours), Fortaleza (18 hours), Recife (13 hours). Tickets can be bought directly at the ticket offices of the different companies or on their website.

To get to the Rodoviária from the centre , take the bus from the small square next to the Praça da Sé. The destinations Pituba, Itaigara or Rodoviaria serve the station. Three quarters of an hour to an hour's journey (smaller, faster buses)
