Getting around by bus and coach Petrópolis

The rodoviaria of Petrópolis is the most modern in the state of Rio de Janeiro. The city is 65 km from Rio, and it takes about 1.5 hours to get there by bus (more during rush hour), and about R$ 28 for a single trip. In addition to trips from Petrópolis to Rio, it is possible to take buses to the states of Espírito Santo, Minas Gerais, Santa Catarina, Goiás, Bahia and Rio de Janeiro. All of them leave from this bus station. It may take a long time, but the buses are comfortable and the ecological footprint of the traveler is much smaller.
