Nearly 40 km of beach, with dunes and a somewhat wild atmosphere, offering a good option for surfing enthusiasts

The unmissable Praia Grande stretches almost 40 kilometres westwards to Saquarema and Maricà. It is one of the favourite beaches for surfers. The waves are ideal for surfing. The dunes leave a somewhat wild atmosphere in some parts of the beach. There are many bars and restaurants on its left side, closer to the center of Arraial do Cabo. This is probably not the most beautiful beach in the city, which are among the most beautiful in the region, but it is worth the detour if you like beautiful waves.
