Magnificent, secluded beaches at the end of the cape, with clear, turquoise, calm waters

2 kilometres from the port is the Prainhas beach, located at the end of the cape, on the Pontal da Atalaia. Isolated and wild, it is said to have "the most crystalline waters in the region". The waters are transparent, turquoise, and calm. You can reach it by boat or car. The Praia Brava, on the other side, has colder and more agitated waters. The beaches of Prainhas do Pontal do Atalaia, beautiful and secluded, differ from those of Prainha, at the entrance to the city from Cabo Frio.
