This beautiful colonial mansion, which today serves as a Maison de la Culture, was used as a public school until the end of the 19th century. It offers exhibitions of modern and contemporary art in several rooms of the house, as well as a few handicrafts for sale. Recently, the Casa da Cultura has been organizing free informal concerts every Thursday and Saturday in its patio, as well as film screenings. Ask for details on site.
