A visit to the Guarani community in Paraty-Mirim is certainly a highlight in space and time. Accompanied by a guide, tourists stroll through the village among the houses and up to the waterfalls, visit the school (which teaches the Guarani language and takes part in a digital inclusion project) and the health center. Around 25 families live here. Far from being voyeuristic, this is a tourism and social development project.
