Bartholomeu offers not one, but two different atmospheres. This restaurant has established itself as one of Paraty's finest restaurants. The "primitivo" offers meat, but not only meat. The chef, Don Julio, is an Argentinian who settled in Brazil a long time ago. So he knows all about meat. The "contemporeano" offers delicious international cuisine. Try the picanha with Roquefort cheese, it's a success. Excellent wine list (Argentinian, of course!). The food reflects the decor: sophisticated and refined.
