There aren't many bakeries in Angra. Pao e acessorios is a good patisserie that makes good bread, croissants, sandwiches and salgados (small Brazilian savouries). It's an ideal spot for breakfast and picnics. Pastry chefs try their hand at French-style macaroons, with some success. You can fill your basket before taking a few boat trips around Angra Bay or to the beautiful island of Ilha Grande, an ecological paradise just opposite Angra.
