There are few bakeries in Angra. Pao e acessorios is a good bakery that makes good bread, croissants, sandwiches, salgados (small Brazilian salted foods). It is the ideal place for breakfast and for a picnic. The pastry chefs try their hand at French-style macaroons with some success. You can fill your basket before taking a few trips around the bay of Angra by boat or going to the beautiful island of Ilha Grande, an ecological paradise just opposite Angra.
