The Fromaggio is an Italian restaurant, as its name suggests. The Italian cuisine it offers is simple and tasty in a slightly faded setting, but the pleasure will be on the plate. The menu offers good meat and pasta dishes, but also pizzas. The pasta is homemade and the pizzas are cooked over a wood fire. The size of the pizzas is impressive. The filet mignon is worth a try! The service is family, pleasant and professional. The beers are served well chilled and the wine list is correct.

The Samburà restaurant is a good small restaurant of sea specialties, well known in the Angra area, with a relaxing jazzy atmosphere, where you can enjoy a fish or grilled octopus with a cold beer. Frequented by locals in low season, the quality of its table makes that the national tourists are very numerous there in high season. The variations of fish (moqueca de cavalo), squid, shrimp (moqueca de camarao) are all quite good. The restaurant is rather out of the way, however.
