HERMITAGE SANT LLORENÇ DE BINIXEMS

Built in 1301 under the reign of James II, this parish church has undergone many transformations over the years. At first, it was the site of the Sant Llorenç festival, and remained so until the ^19th century, in 1832 to be exact. In the second half of the last century, it housed a school. Today, it is a refuge for young people. Note the transept crossing, the four columns supporting the dome and the four semicircular arches.
