This prehistoric monument in the shape of an inverted nave, dating from the 9thBC, is one of the island's most emblematic features.

This prehistoric monument in the shape of an inverted nave, dating from the Bronze Age, is without doubt the best-preserved naveta (funerary shuttle) on the island. A tiny entrance door leads to the two burial chambers (only the outside can be visited), collective tombs where the bones of over a hundred individuals were found. Bronze and bone funerary objects, now on display at the Menorca Museum in Maó, were also discovered during the archaeological excavations (bronze bracelets, bone buttons, etc.).

Au bout d'un joli petit sentier en pleine campagne, nous découvrons cette belle "naveta", en très bon état... Mais rien d'autre... pas vraiment d'explications... Visite très rapide !

perso, nous n'avons pas vraiment apprécié. Le site a surement des valeurs inestimable en archéologique mais nous on n'y connait rien, il faisait très chaud, à part la navette elle même, rien d'autre à voir. On a été avec les enfants qui ont vu en 2 mn avant de nous demander de partir. Du coup, on a impression d'avoir payé pour rien

Très joli site en pleine campagne. Eviter d'y aller aux heures chaudes la journée, car il n'y a pas d'ombre. Cela fait un balade sympa depuis le parking.
On ne peut pas grimper sur le bâtiment, cela va de soi, mais on ne rentre pas à l'intérieur non plus. Une petite lucarne donne sur la salle, mais on ne voit pas grand chose.
Petit dépliant en français à l'accueil. Entrée 3 euros et gratuit le lundi
