Military monuments

This imposing bastion is one of the few remains of the 17th-century wall that once surrounded the town of Cuitadella. Although its origins date back to the 14th century, after the town became part of the Catalan-Aragonese Crown, the wall was largely rebuilt after the Turkish invasions of 1558, albeit along the original line. Overlooking the harbor, the bastion offers visitors a breathtaking view of its sparkling waters. The town hall now occupies the interior of the former ramparts.
