Museum dedicated to the monk Junípero Serra, born in Petra in 1713, founder of nine missions in Upper California that later became major cities such as San Francisco and Los Angeles. His strong contribution to the creation of the State of California has earned him the title of one of the "Founding Fathers of the North American Homeland", and consequently, a historical figure of indisputable value. His home (and birthplace) is also open to visitors.
