Comfortable rooms and a warm welcome in a cosy rural hotel in Sant Miquel.
Can Planells is a rural hotel that combines the cosy and comfortable side of the hotel with the charm of the countryside. The 8 rooms are very comfortable. The house is in harmony with nature, surrounded by fig, carob and almond trees, as well as orange, avocado and other fruit trees. The owners, who are real farmers, will transmit their love for this splendid rural area. A lot of charm coupled with a warm and friendly welcome by the Planells family.

* Area is gorgeous in the quieter North. Would definitely recommend a car, unless you don’t plan to leave the hotel much at all.
* Building renovation is lovely, outdoor pool area is gorgeous. They were doing some gardening work behind so expect it’ll be even nicer next season.
* Room/apartment was spacious. Rustic but comfortable.
* Hosts were friendly and informative.
* Breakfast is mostly served with items from the farm (e.g. avocados, oranges, eggs, etc.).
* The one thing I didn’t realise (because I didn’t check) was that it is not an adults only hotel, so there were a few kids jumping in the pool etc.
