On the left, from Puy-en-Velay, there is a press press showing the region's wine and wine history. The press was sent by donation in 1876. A date carved in hollow by the throat, 1873, probably indicates a restoration. Built in oak wood, it weighs about seven tons. The lever, over six metres long, has one end for the screw. This piece of 25 cm in diameter allowed, wrapping in the nut to get considerable pressure to crush the grapes. This press required several men to manoeuvre it.
