This museum traces 3,000 years of history in the Pitiüses, from the first inhabitants of the islands to the Catalan conquest in 1235. Most of the objects on display - relics from the Punic era - come from excavations carried out in Ibiza. Just a stone's throw away is the necropolis and museum of Puig des Molins, offering a "journey to death in ancient Ibiza" (according to the director). A real questioning of the mortal nature of man.
