It is one of the biggest slums in Africa. Provided you have a good heart, you can wander through the labyrinth of alleys that make up this district of nearly one million people (according to NGOs, nearly 200,000 according to the government) in a ridiculous area (4 km2), at the gates of the capital. Do not venture there at night. The best thing is to be accompanied by a Kenyan, if only to avoid getting lost or finding yourself in embarrassing situations. Toutefois, je recommande le "toy-market", en bordure du bidonville, ou l'on peut faire des affaires de toutes sortes: vêtement, électronique, jouets, accessoires de cuisine, etc... on y trouve de tout! même des services à fondue, c'est pour dire. Il est recommandé d'y aller accompagné par un "local". mais pas obligatoire.
